Senior Scientist
Elena (Ph.D.) is the senior postdoc (maître assistant) of the group. Before coming to Geneva she studied with Vladimir Egorov in Minsk, Belarus. She is an expert on ion-selective membrane principles and more recently also focused her efforts on environmetal sensors. She showed that symmetry of the electrochemical cell should be part of the design to make the resulting sensors as robust and predictable as possible.
